Stephen Swoyer is a researcher and analyst with more than 20 years of experience. His research has focused on business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, analytics, data science, machine learning, and the larger data management segment for the last 15 years. He also enjoys researching and writing about software development and software architecture – or technology architecture of any kind, for that matter. Swoyer is a recovering philosopher, with an abiding focus on ethics, philosophy of ideas, and philosophy of science. He venerates Miles Davis’ Agharta as one of the twentieth century’s great unsung masterworks.
